Ice Cream Social pres. Tracks For Trainers "Woven Air" Released 11.03.02 Cat No.PB3009
'Woven Air' was written and produced by Mick Wilson of notorious Tilt fame and Parks & Wilson. This mans history is too long to even mention, but everyone is familiar with his work. With such huge releases on Hooj, Baroque, Virgin, Perfecto, etc., this is Micks first solo project without his studio partners. The Abstract Art Mix of 'Woven Air' is the ultimate prime time record. The deep chunky beats and spacious swirling effects compliment the dark and evil break like no other. Think of Tilts 'Seduction of Orpheus' with an added twist. The nasty and disturbing samples will make you shudder with fear, but the crowd response will blow you away. The Deep Drums Mix on the flip is a smoother dubbed out version of this dancefloor monster with the subtle, twisted vocal stabs and effects building intensely into an uncompromising break.

Liam Shachar "Feelings" Released 11.03.02 Cat No.TEK009
Here we have a perfectly subtle piece of cool tech-house, as you would expect from Sunkisseds sister label, that grooves, twists and turns towards a cool vocal snippet. On the flip Liam provides us with a slightly deeper tech-dub that takes a slightly different approach whilst staying in touch with the original. Liam Shachar was born in 76 in Israel wheres hes working as one of the major DJs in the country. Organica "Find The Way Out" Released 11.03.02 Cat No.EVE01052
Signed at last years Winter Music Conference Eve had to beat various other labels interested in signing this Turkish duo. Already recognised in their own country as well respected DJs and promoters, 'Find The Way Out / Access Denied' is Organicas first release, but that doesnt diminish its beauty and class. 'Find The Way Out' on the A side oozes class from every pore: from the intricate rhythms and ball-grabbing basslines to the gloriously haunting vocals and luscious string washes, it has that uniqueness and quality that makes or breaks a labels reputation. The flip is a driving affair, with a filtered stabby riff and a thunderous bassline coupled with self-raising strings and a powerful breakdown. Both tracks are also set to be included in the John 00 Fleming compiled 'Gods Kitchen' CD.

Samuel E Reeve "Rise & Shine" Released 11.03.02 Cat No.HOTWAX015
Sam has remixed and produced various tracks for the likes of Tidy Trax, Kaktai, Vacuum, and many more. Not bad for a 19 year old. Rise and Shine first saw the light of day early last year when Hotwax snapped it up. This track has been a long time coming. This track is a turning point in Sams style of production crossing over the usual hard house elements that Sam puts together like pieces of a musical puzzle and mixes it up with a more techie groove. The end result? STOMPIN. Duke Hazard a.k.a. Tweek gives us his version which sees his production take a new direction, veering towards the more darker driving side of hard house.

DJ Nukem "Secrets" Released 11.03.02 Cat No.IMA09
DJ Nukem returns with the 9th Release on Chab's label Imago, and does loads to restore faith in the tribal end of prog. Nukem delivers another twisted piece of house music that has seen Tenaglia hammer this release on TP for the past 3 months. There is more frantic and vicious percussion that makes you dance like a man being attacked by killer hornets and there is also some wicked male spoken vocals that are very dark and haunting, but fits the track perfectly.

O.B.A. "Noah's Ark" Released 11.03.02 Cat No.BLACK03
The second release on Black comes from the darker, edgier side of progressive music and the combination of O.B.A. and Deep Amok means that Black continues with quality production and a distinctive sound to black records. O.B.A. hails originally from San Francisco. Emerging on the dance seen in the mid 80s, it was 1999 when his progressive sound really came together. Thereafter, 'Noah's Ark' was picked up by Black records. Noahs Ark is a bass led cut that drops nicely into Black Records sound. Driving from the outset, O.B.As is a dark cut for the top of the night. The Deep Amok Remix lends a tribal edge to things whilst giving nothing of the intoxicating bass away.
