Charlatans
"Belle"
Released 4.03.02
Cat No.LWR007

Amato are proud to present the exclusive distribution of brand new Los Angeles label Leftwing Productions. First up is an exclusive track by no other than the Charlatans. The a side consists of a mad instrumental thats not too far away from the likes of the Dub Pistols, with squelching bass and some very nice DJ scratching that carries the track along very nicely. This should appeal to house and breaks fans in equal measure. The b side consists of two tracks that Charlatans fans would expect from them, with the screeching guitars and grooving basslines that has seen this 5 piece band gain worldwide recognition for the past 15 years.

Brian Stillwater & Alex Gardel

The b side sees him deliver one of his best remixes to date and is destined for dancefloor destruction - it will have you begging for mercy, but screaming for more. The multi-talented Brian Stillwater teams with up the progressive newcomer Alex Gardel to great effect.

For two years, Sunrise Recordings (a division of Spinnin') has brought you the finest hard house and club-trance tracks from the Netherlands. Artists like E-Craig, The Crazy Drummer, Natural Born Grooves and TDR have made their way to the top of many charts in the past. Rose

Released 4.03.02
Cat No.AM2004

Yahel
"Runaway"
Released 4.03.02
Cat No.CR051

Amato are very very proud to announce the exclusive worldwide distribution of Cyber records from Holland. A prolific label, with well established artists like DJ Nukem & Chab, Yahel and DJ Gogo, this label has found its rightful home at last. To say Yahel is on a roll is an understatement, side A 'Run Away' is already featured on Armin Van Buuren's '002 Basic Instinct' compilation and the B side 'Massive Control' is featured on the New Gatecrasher cd named 'Experience 2002'. Simple, moody, deep and seductive with a strangely infectious bassline, add a smooth, spaced out backing track and you have a classy bit of progressive house music.

12" Thumpers
"This Is the One"
Released 4.03.02
Cat No.THM037

Mobi-D, already a big name in the fields of producing and DJing, has turned in a stomping track that is full of tough riffs to make any crowd sweat. Relying on predominantly hard-edged samples, he has yet again captured the essence of the harder-style of banging house music that 12 Inch Thumpers have defined over a number of releases. The AA side is the 3rd time that Sol Ray has featured on 12 Thumpers and what a beauty this remix is too. It is more bouncy than the A side and has a slightly cheeky side with charming stabs that will build the crowd to a frenzy. The bassline gives the tune a tongue-in-cheek drive that, when added to a delicate mix of rolling percussion is sheer aural pleasure.

RR Fierce
"Rock Da Spot"
Released 04.03.02
Cat No.12CHARGE007

Sadly Johnny Newell (RR Fierce) has passed away since this track was sent to the pressing plant back in early December, but all who knew Johnny will know that he would have wanted the party to go on. Johnny had releases on Vicous Circle, Tinrib, DP Recordings, Alien Trax and CutNDry as well as recently setting up his own imprint, Fierce Technik. His DJing built a fierce reputation on the underground circuit, playing regularly at venues such as Turnmills and Bagleys. 'Rock Da Spot' is a fitting reminder of an artist wholl be remembered for his ability to pick up the pace at any point in the night with his unique brand of Hard As Fuck Nu NRG and Hard House. The irrepressible Knuckleheadz have been brought on board to deliver the remix treatment, and they turn out a groovy, bass heavy interpretation that still packs a hefty punch. This rip-roaring release is guaranteed to leave a lasting impact wherever heard, so play it hard and bang it out loud, RR Fierce style.

4. THE OTHERS ALBUM SAMPLER MIX - Mauro Picotto gives the world a teaser for his forthcoming artist album 'The Other' in this rapid-fire 15minute mix which includes the current dance floor anthems 'Verdi', 'Bangkok', 'Awesome', 'Hong Kong' and of course, 'Pulsar' itself. It features a slammin shuffling disco loop with a robotic vocal riding over the top and an incredible mid-breakdown. For the accapella junkies, there are two vocal loops / Dj tools included. 'Reconditioned' is on the harder edge of house with thick chunky teched-out overtones that will rock any dancefloor.

Kenny Shifter
"Six"
Released 04.03.02
Cat No.FLR035

Kenny Shifter makes his return to Fluid Recordings UK with the release of his second single Six this March. 'Six' is the Shifters follow up to Fused, a single that was supported across the board by top DJs including John Digweed. The original mix of Six is a sonic solution for any clued up dancefloor; combining a tough, driving rhythm, shimmering hi hats and an ensemble of electronic insect noises. The relentless hook is complemented by a twisting subsonic bass line, which subtly teases a drifting synthetic melody. The Dub toys with a conga driven rhythm session and a funky cutnpaste bass line, adding a new dimension to the main mix. More stripped down, less melodic and more of a groover, the chunky analogue stabs accompany a vocal audio chant, giving a no nonsense house arrangement for 2002.

DJ Shredda
"Chainsaw"
Released 04.03.02
Cat No.TIDY167T

Chainsaw was first heard by Lee Haslam @ the Popkomm festival in 2001, and since then, has been causing a real stir amongst the hard house fraternity, with compilation appearances on Euphoria 2 and Fergies 'Headliners' album to name a few. The Freek (newly signed to Tidy Management) is famous for his collaborations with Mac Zimms, but on his debut outing he delivers a cool interpretation, which compliments the Crow mix to great effect making this a very nice double header. Judge for yourself.

Skydiver
"Think"
Released 04.03.02
Cat No.PT001

Here the man simply known as Skydiver lets loose on his debut for the brand new 'do as it pleases' Piquantrax label. Skydiver is gaining excellent feedback from The TCR crew and king of the breaks Rennie Pilgrem quotes the track as a breath of fresh air in the New Skool category. He has opted to champion the 12 and is currently submitting an outstanding review in 7 magazine. Ricky Morrison (M&S) was one of the first to compliment the flip titled 'Think' and states that the reactions are phenomenal and it has become a concrete rock in his box.

Unit 2

This is a brand new record by two leading European club star producers, a tough hard-edged european club-house hit with a killer riff, and an astonishing UK hard-house remix on the AA side from the KlubdoctorZ. Residents at the Saturday night Curious club at Bournemouths Opera House, home of Slinky, they have also recently remixed Red Alien for Nebula, Stargazers' Anybody Out There (Airheadz), and are working on a new remix of 4Motion's Over 4 Me.
