Pitch Black comprises the considerable talents of: Clive Henry, Kevin Swain and David Snell. Clive is having the most prolific period of his career, with one of the success stories of 2000, Peace Division. Kevin has joined forces with David , forming their own Sub Productions. With projects signed to Baroque (xzique) and Plastica, these boys are on top form. These mixes are definitely aimed at a tougher market than the original and are provided by the enigmatic Pete Heller. Pete is on fire at the moment, after his much-sought after track 'Stylus Trouble' and his new track 'Future Child', both for Junior. This is set to be one of Rhythm Syndicate's biggest tracks to date.

The one thing left to do, is go out with a bang, so Saw Recordings are proud to bring you an EP by Further Thoughts (Alexi Delano (A.D.N.Y) and Casey Hogan). Alexi, widely respected for his label Cornershots, 'Levia' on Plastic City and 'Selections 97-00' on Turbo, meshes his passion for deep house with the techier instincts of Casey Hogan. Hogan, currently receiving much attention for 'Under My Skin' on Test 542, his 'Alric' releases on Plastic City and the 'Sensation EP' on Macintosh, proves to be the perfect addition to Alexi's style. Here, they have laid down an EP that will be released in 2001, but will be hot well into next year. No fancy build-ups, just straight-up deep captivating grooves, sex inducing bass and a developmental structure that provides endless satisfaction. These tracks truly speak for themselves, any more talk will only clutter the minimal groove infected prowess they stand by.

Bobby Peru�s fourth single on 20:20 Vision, and the A side track is one of the stand out cuts to be taken from his forthcoming debut album, Death of a Player. Paul Woolford also records as 10000BC with Yousef, Snow Monkey with Mat Playford and co produced the first Wackdaddies album on Under The Counter with Tony Senghore. Electronic funk par excellence from a quality label.

NBG Recordings is one of Holland's quality house labels that is known for it�s rare frequency on releases and it�s supreme results on each and every release.

OD404 make their mark once more on the ever evolving scene with another smash to light up your winter fires and leave you feeling nothing but hot under the collar. 'Crash Guard' sees the label and the artist explore further avenues to full effect. The main riff has a superb effected trancey feel, while the awesome funky bassline and random, varied stabs supplement it further and resemble nothing but pure OD404 trademark quality. On the flip, 'Rock The Spot' does exactly what it says on the tin. For those who can remember, the instantly recognizable hardcore riff is currently having a devastating effect on dancefloors all over the world. The thundering bass steams along and when this track kicks in off the break you�d better hold on tight as the roller coaster ride takes you off faster than the runaway train.

'You Are', written and produced by Shaun Slaughter, Doug Duvall, and Adrian Brawn (Thin Men) has become one of the most anticipated records of the year. Their first release on Pipeline will be split on to two discs featuring three distinct mixes of their own and the heavy hitting Moshic remix. Besides the fact that these deep tribal progressive tracks are phenomenal, 'You Are' is dedicated to the untimely passing of a friend. Disc 1 features the Thin Men�s original vocal mix and Moshic�s remix on the A Side. The original is a deep techy housey track that layers an unstoppable groove through dark and eerie effects. The flipside offers a remix by Israel�s bad boy, Moshic, who takes the track into a more subdued and hypnotizing direction with an uncompromising vocal breakdown that will make your legs shiver with fear and send goosebumps down your spine.
