T-empo "We Can Be" Released 23.7.01 Cat No.MUMU001
"T-empo is Manchester's Tim Lennox and Colin Thorpe. Tim is a familiar face on the DJ circuit guesting across the country; he also hosts a fully networked radio show on Galaxy FM, broadcast between 12am to 2am on Saturdays. Tim and Colin's last few years have been spent recording as Noizefalls for Warners and mounting up a heap of remix credits include productions for Tom Jones and Diana Ross. 'We can be' (original mix) is a funky progressive journey. The first break slams with a floor rumpling break-beat, which then builds into the second break, which boasts a euphoric string and vocal. Side B is the Noizefalls remix which uses more Trance elements with the same floor breaking results. This is the first of 3 singles set to come on mumu from T-empo in June, July and august."

Pole Folder & CP "Apollo Vibes" Released 23.7.01 Cat No.BED19
"Benoit Franquet (Pole Folder) and Cedric Piret (CP), have created a deep, slamming progressive house track, which is both dark and sensual, using a groovy, funky bassline and dropping some serious rhythmic melodies, deep drops and rolling percussion. The remix on the flip is delivered in fine style by Greg Scanavino, better known as Young American Primitives, who is no stranger to the progressive world, having already remixed Jimmy Van M's 'Love Like Sleep' and produced an album and several singles. Featured on John Digweed's Global Underground CD."

Champion Burns "Filtered Funk EP 2" Released 23.7.01 Cat No.NUKP0344
"Having conquered the harder end of the 4/4 scale, the nation's favourite record label launches an exploratory foray into funky town. Phat grooves, badass bass and twisted loops are the order of the day as we prepare for a summer of bouncy bedlam yellow stylee. The first instalment of this twisted mayhem sank its teeth into Judge Jules earlobe and just wouldn't let go! A 'tried & tested' record on his show and spins for 5 weeks running means that the nation now knows the power of the yellow nukleuz funk."

CRW "After The Rain" Released 23.7.01 Cat No.BXRP0317
"It's time for Mauro's annual foray onto the trancefloors of the world. Mauro 'CRW' Picotto is probably the biggest international hard dance dj to hit the UK club scene in the last 2 yrs. He is resident at Gatecrasher where he plays eight hour sets and is about to release the massive 'Like This Like That' as a follow up to his top 15 hit 'Komodo' from earlier this year. 'After The Rain' is a smooth delerium-esque production that has already been one of the highlights of his performances. This 12" contains three mixes to choose from: the Megavoices will hit the spot for die-hard Mauro fans whilst the vocals on the deep-trancin' clubby mix will have hands in the air every time."

Dan Robbins "D.B.D. (Chanting In The Dark)" Released 23.7.01 Cat No.BRG019
"Dan Robbins has come up with a track that is slaying clubs as we speak. Starting with a simple bongo loop and building up and up with some mad fucker talking about ecstasy for ten minutes. Mad chants and tougher beats arrive halfway through building up and up to a bit of a monster by the end. This mix was hammered by Steve Lawler and featured on his impressive NuBreed mix CD for Boxed. On the flip Pete Heller comes up with a dub version (Pete's vocal to follow on the remix 12") that is just killing it. Currently on a roll Pete has had more essential new tunes than we'd care to mention and has come up with the goods yet again."

Groove Controllers "Da Funker" Released 23.7.01 Cat No.TWT05
"The Tuff Twins invite the Groove Controllers on to their label to bring this quirky and irresistible tune to the UK's dancefloors. The booming, off-beat bassline builds until you're hit with the madly energetic Roland 101 sequence. If this one doesn't get the crowds jumping, nothing will! Elvira provides a truly funky mix, featuring slap bass and filtered mayhem, always making sure we don't miss out on any of the exceptional hooks of the original."

"Masterminded and produced by two of the biggest names in the hard house scene, funk masters Paul Janes and Paul (Bulletproof) Chambers, who deliver four pulsating dancefloor destroyers. These four tracks are designed for only one thing: to make your body move. Full of the biggest, wobbliest bass, driving percussion, big kick drums, killer drops and superb cut up vocal stabs, which create the raw energy and funk that this series has become renowned for."

With its dark swirling stabs, unforgettable riff and sexy, dreamy vocal, 'Dirty Girl' is another dancefloor stormer from OTR. Dirty Dolly steps up for the remix, taking the sound of the original and adding a funkier flavour for discerning dancefloors."
