VARIOUS "Album Sampler" Released 16.7.01 Cat No.RUDE021
"This is the second in a two-part package introducing the long awaited compilation album from Rudeboy, who have been putting out quality bouncy hard house since 1998. BOOMJAM is the production talents of Andy Allder and Don Grant and they have combined to present two outstanding tracks. The track, has been remixed by the inimitable, LISA PIN UP, who produces another fine remix. BOOMJAM have also produced the second track on this package - Pump The Jumpin'. More hard house madness from the Rudeboy camp."

FUTURE ACOUSTICS "The Strobe" Released 16.7.01 Cat No.PFT026
"'The Strobe' is Future Acoustic's second release on Plastic Fantastic. Their debut release, the mighty 'Absynth' appeared in September 2000, to great response from the likes of Paul Oakenfold and Lee Burridge. It's a throbbing hypnotic peak time twisted monster of a tune, with a glorious teasing sleazy vocal, that truly comes alive on a big sound system. With a background as remixers (Forthright) for the likes of George Michael, Mansun, and the Pet Shop Boys (Pete is also PSB's programmer), these guys are pure professionals. Pete is also one of the people behind one of the hotly tipped tunes from the Winter Music Conference: Superchumbo - 'Revolution' (Twisted)."

Iman "Siente" Released 16.7.01 Cat No.FD023
"After their success of the Medway mix of Atnarko's 'House Phazin', comes a crunching follow-up from Americas finest, Iman - Siente. This one features one of Mexico's DJ pioneers, DJ Tini Tun, the incredibly beautiful and sexy Naiki (whose soft vocals you hear on the original version) and producer/engineer Tranceiver. Tini is Mexico's finest export. He has helped create the scene in Mexico and push it to be one of the most exciting places to DJ on the world circuit. Tranceiver is slowly making a name for himself as the leader for the new Mexican revolution, having released tracks on labels like Dorigen and Sunkissed. He has just finished working with John Creamer and Stephane K on a new project."

Justin Bourne "Scratch The Bass" Released 16.7.01 Cat No.STIM12018
"Justin Bourne is one of the bright, young fast-rising stars of the hard house scene and delivers his Stimulant debut with a firing AA side. Hi-octane, prime time thumpers are flavour of the day. Both 'Scratch the Bass' and 'In Effect' have been devastating the dancefloors across the nation with early acetate pressure. Featured on the 'Insomnia 2' album - get on it and Stimulate your dancefloor."

TANTRIC BOOGIE "Temperature Rise" Released 16.7.01 Cat No.KIDSOUND002
"Mark Wilkinson returns with another slice of super cool house music. After the success of the fantastic Spank - 'Everybody' (KidSound) and Kidstuff - 'Alright' ('Fluential), he turns up the heat with another scorching production designed for the summer floors from here to Ibiza.
Da House for Peak Time!
Da Boogie for groove!
Lets Hear It For The Kids!"

Cimmera "Feedback Wave" Released 16.7.01 Cat No.WALL003
"The first two releases on Wallop, by Manhattan and Lee Morrison tore up the dancefloors nation wide and overseas. This track has been carefully crafted into a tribal-tech-progressive dancefloor destroyer. Tough percussion, superb chords and trademark growling bassline are used to maxuim effect to create that ever popular 'Tenaglia' feel - this is both dark and devastating."

Nu Breed "Food For Thought" Released 16.7.01 Cat No.ZOT12012
"The original mix on the A-side featurs Nu Breed's trademark crisply-programmed beats and DB's sublime vocal snippets combined into a future classic early morning anthem. The Dark Alley remix on the flip sees Ivan Gough and Phil K strip it back and slow it down to 125 for a tribal groove that should find favour with the house heads. Keep an ear out for 'D.Zire' another Nu Breed track set for release on In-Flight later in the year, plus a remix of Free Radicals' 'Summer Breeze'. 'Food for Thought' will also feature on our upcoming Zero Tolerance compilation CD No Nonsense, which features exclusively Australian acts and will be released in late 2001."

Shamrock "Put Ya" Released 16.7.01 Cat No.KING003
"Sharam J unleashes release number three on his King Kong import. Goodfeedback from Danny Rampling, CJ Mackintosh and Jazzy M."

2 Fierce "Down To the Bone" Released 16.7.01 Cat No.TTS004
"2 Fierce is collaboration between one of the UK's most prolific hard house DJs, Lisa Pin Up and one of the most exciting producers in the scene, Elvira. Together they have created a tune of monstrous proportions, 'Down to the bone'. The original mix has a driving bass line and cheeky stabs that kick the dance floor into submission every time. On the flip Elvira has added an infectious lead line and funked up the groove to deliver, what we think is his best to date."
|
Nokternal "Cosmic Sauce" Released 16.7.01 Cat No.CRE015
"Not content with being a sound engineer / technical manager at a leading London studio. Justin Spear has turned the tables and got behind the desk to deliver us these two brilliant slices of house music magic. Very much in a cool but groovy vain 'Cosmic Sauce' is built on layers of solid bass & percussion. The track chugs along very nicely, building to a tight break & then back the other side.....very nice indeed! Check the flip for the mighty 'Keep Movin', a trip into minimal funk with a deeper edge; as before this has a solid groove element, but less of the drive."

12" Thumpers "9 Beats To The Bar (remixes)" Released 16.7.01 Cat No.THM020
"The 12 Inch Thumpers remix projects are back with another storming release. This time the honours have been given to Paul Glazby and Johnny Dangerous & John Whiteman. The Paul Glazby remix is the hardest of the two mixes; fat and head down hard. Strong beats and sub bass leading to the original 9 Beats synth pattern but with a layered twist to ensure that the Glazby fans will not be left feeling like they haven't had a big dose of brain cell bashing after hearing his mix. The Johnny Dangerous & John Whiteman mix takes another direction where fat kicks and sharp stabs lead the track at a frantic rate to an almighty breakdown that booms back in when you least expect it and rocks off your socks."

Daz "Hertz & Non Stop Munty" Released 16.7.01 Cat No.HOTWAX009
"Daz is the latest addition to the Hotwax Crew and definitely a name to watch out for! 'Hertz' is a bouncy, cheeky choon sampling a never heard before vocal: "We will not accept responsibility for loss of hearing or damage to equipment", and we won't! This track is typical of his style: simple, happy and completely bangin'. The flip side 'Non-Stop Munty' is a harder, more driving track building up to a completely stomping finale. Described by some as the most thumping choon they have ever heard, this is one to satisfy the munt in any clubber with its throbbing bass and mental hoover riff, it'll keep them marching till dawn."
|
Quo Vadis "La Musica" Released 16.7.01 Cat No.WAX006
"Wax Records is the brainchild of Andy Manston (Clockwork Orange) and Julian Napolitano, and they have been supplying the masses with sure-fire hits over a long period of time. Previous Wax releases have included the huge Quo Vadis - Sonic Boom (signed by Serious). The guys are also responsible for the massive Lexos - The Key (out through Incentive) and are the producers behind Perpetual Motion and JDS. This release is a strong, pumping, uplifting track which has received a fantastic reception at Clockwork Orange, Peach, Turnmills and other quality nights up and down the country."
