Various "Unreleased EP 2" Released 16.6.03 Cat No. TCOM028
A - Insigma - Open Our Eyes (Goldenscan remix)
B - Free Radical - Surreal (En-Motion remix)
Following the success of the first indemand & unreleased EP, atcr happily freshens up your glass with volume two. First to the turntable on this EP is Goldenscans remix of Insigmas Open Our Eyes. With their Of Our Times release currently doing great shakes on Lost Language, they have produced a truly original slant on a classic trance record. Until now it has been an exclusive with Armin van Buurens, where he made it single of the week on his highly regarded State Of Trance radio show. Delivered too late to be available for last year's release, spotters have been requesting this from the label for months. Over on the b-side youll find Free Radicals Surreal, simply one of the finest atcr moments to date. Steve (Thrillseekers) Helstrip provides an enormous En-motion remix for younger brother Richards tune. Originally withdrawn the week it was released after a major stepped in to sign it, it tragically never fully saw the light of day. Nine months ago two shops cleared out atcrs back stock and with the increased DJ exposure demand has been growing ever since.

Lisa German "Let It Go" Released 16.6.03 Cat No. WALL011
A - Let It Go
B - Let It Go (Lee Morrison's Gone mix)
Lisa German is definitely one lady too look out for, having been included in DJ Magazines hot new talent for 2003 and being looked after by Cement Management (Darren Emerson, Tim Deluxe, Yousef etc etc) Lisa now puts her skills on to vinyl and the result is this full on dancefloor friendly tribal workout which we are sure you will enjoy. The vocals belong to Lazy Gee who amongst her credits most recently has been working with Flatline. On the flip label manager Lee Morrison provides a full on mix which makes full use of the vocal, appealing to a wider range of DJs.

Silver City "Elastic" Released 16.6.03 Cat No. VIS088
A - Elastic
B1 - Smoke Rings
B2 - My Fire
Elastic is certain to gain good reactions and is released just following Silver Citys high profile remix of James Holdens 'Nothing' for Loaded, and their remixes of Random Factors 'What I Need' and 'Know Youre There'. The boys are also very busy and in demand under their Cuidad Feliz pseudonym releasing tracks on such prestigious labels as Silver Network, Konk West, 3am and Shaboom. The EP starts with 'Elastic' a nine-minute journey into awesome, bass heavy dancefloor-destroying house music and could be described as the intergalactic cousin of Alan Braxes 'Intro'. Tough beats combine with Fernandos live bass and once the breakdown has ended and the bass kicks back in, hands are well and truly in the air. Since the Silver City boys have moved to Leeds they have b been regulars at Back To Basics, enjoying some of the finest house music on the planet and 'Smoke Rings' is definitely influenced by the sound of the legendary club. It is a wicked Chicago house influenced funky, jackin bomb influenced by Brett Johnson and Derrick Carter and includes the evil vocals of Fernando and Julian themselves. Finally you get 'My Fire', superb, heads down, locked on, hypnotic DJ tackle featuring more of Fernandos signature rubbery bass sounds.

Aalto "Rush" Released 16.6.03 Cat No. ANJ011
A - Rush
B - Rush (Super 8 vs Orkidea mix)
One of the biggest records of 2003 for Paul Van Dyk, enormous for Armin Van Buuren and a 5/5 review in DJ Magazine. The original mix of Rush is an uplifiting, instrumental trancer that will appeal to the more discerning floor, but it is the Super8 vs Orkidea reworking that has kicked this into classicsville, delivering a mix which is destined to be one of the biggest trance records of the year. Reactions to a few strategically dispatched CDRs suggest that the tune is a monster, with Matt Hardwick, ArminVan Buuren and Paul Van Dyk all giving the tune a thorough battering. Indeed in the case of the latter, the International Uberjock has lined up the track for a release on his Vandit label in Germany. Do the sensible thing and invest in some fire-resistant slip mats now because this is one hot piece of plastic!

Mr Bishi "I Need (Your Loving)" Released 16.6.03 Cat No. TTRAX096
A - I Need (Your Loving) (Steve Hill & Jon Langford mix)
B - Throw Your Hands In The Air (Lee Haslam mix)
Mr Bishi have sold nearly 30,000 units in their 4 single history. This is their first single in over a year, and has been packaged with remixes of their previous biggest singles. 'I Need Your Loving' is a pumping vocal hard dance track. 'Throw Your Hands In The Air' is a hard dance anthem and was Mr Bishis debut single, formerly on Y2K, featured on TV advertised compilations including Hard House Anthems, Now Thats What I Call Hard House, and Hard House Euphoria. Head honcho from Tidy Trax, Lee Haslam, produces a tough euphoric hard trance remix.

Brio From Rio "Just For Me" Released 16.6.03 Cat No. BNB001
A - Just For Me (Le Az remix)
B - DJ
Black & Blue, an offshoot of Neo, has released many house and garage tracks over the last three years including tunes from Rhythm Masters, Blaze, Basstoy and Itaal Shur. The track 'Just For Me' was born out of an idea from Italian producer / writer G Di Benedetto, who is famous for writing various Italian hit singles for artists like Joy Salinas and Lady Violet ('Calling Your Name'). He was so enthusiastic after he met Brio, a Scottish girl with Brazilian origins, he decided to go into the studio and record a track with her.

Ciudad Feliz "Buenos Aires Burning" Released 16.6.03 Cat No. TAM001
A - Hell
B1 - Sera
B2 - Housekeepers
3am recordings is the new deep house label in Manchester. As Paper Recordings finishes, 3am takes up the reigns to give quality house music to the world. Argentinian duo Ciudad Feliz are on top form at the moment and this is the first of 3 EPs by the boys for 3am. Look out for the Welcome Back and How EPs in September and December respectively. Hell is a straightup club stormer, all grumbling bass and superb drums. Flip to the B-side and its more laid back stuff with Sera and Housekeepers, but equally funky, deep house action. Bass led and rhythmic, just right for 3am, be that in a club or the label.

Nick Denton "Trauma" Released 16.6.03 Cat No. THM059
A - Trauma
B - Bonkas
Following up from the success of his previous release on 12 Thumpers, Nik Denton is back with this stonkingly good second EP. Trauma features a fairly progressive bassline that is intertwined with seemingly relaxed hoovers and sawtooth stabs. The break launches off with a heady filtered synth with almost retro qualities..a real break from the norm with an extremely refreshing outcome. Bonkas carries the retro theme a bit further but retains the genre with percussion as crispy as over-cooked bacon. The top leads appear to almost glide over the track to give it an uplifting vibe throughout. This track will go down great on a dancefloor as it re-lives the passion of music production that was 8 years ago but with a 2003 hard dance makeover.

Willie Morales "Beat This" Released 16.6.03 Cat No. JM05

B - Beat This (Robbie Rivera's mix)
This is Willie Morales second single on Robbie Riveras Juicy Music imprint. Robbie takes it to the bangin, tweaked-out side of house music.

Stimulant DJs "Countdown" Released 16.6.03 Cat No. STIM12029
A - Countdown
B - Countdown (Lab 4 remix)
The Stimulant DJs are back as they drop more hard dance dynamite on the crowd with their latest offering 'The Countdown'. Having won the crowd over with 'F*ck Da Beatz', the guys opt for a less hard trance orientated sound this time around with a firing, straight-up no-nonsense belter that is relentless from start to finish yet maintains that cheeky Stimulant swing. Check out the huge 'countdown' build up, the infectious lead riff and fierce bass for maximum crowd annihilation. Global hard dance heroes Lab 4 are no strangers when it comes to writing floorfilling tracks and they excel once more with an absolutely monstrous remix that holds no hostages. The boys have managed to capture the energy of the original and add their unmistakable sound making this an absolute winner with the audience (as proved with the numerous live performances of the track in their current set.) Having already featured on numerous compilations including the massive Hardhouse Euphoria series this track really is a cut above the rest. Get on it and stimulate your dancefloor!

Three Drives "Air Traffic" Released 16.6.03 Cat No. MD033
A - Air Traffic
B - Cruise Ship
A delicious double A-side that's getting hammered by all big international DJs. Keeping with their 'tradional' Euro-trance sound, 'Air Traffic' is yet another example of why the vast majority of crossover trance records originate in the Netherlands no one does it better! Tiësto, Armin, Ferry Corsten are all Dutch. 'Air Traffic' also appears on the new Ferry Corsten mix CD 'World Tour-Washington' (Tsunami / Purple Eye Records.)

Todd Tobias "Brave New World" Released 16.6.03 Cat No. RECOVER024
A - Brave New World (K90 remix)
B - Brave New World
Todd Tobias is one of the most promising hard dance production talents to emerge in the past 12 months, and was recently featured in DJ Mag as 'One To Watch in 2003'. Having already made tracks for Nukleuz and Retek, Todd now makes his Recover debut and provides further evidence as to why he's a producer to watch. 'Brave New World' is another hands in the air track that Todd has built his reputation on, and with the bell chimes and distinctive vocals giving this an irresistible hook, we know this will be spinning around your head for weeks to come. K90 makes his long awaited return to Recover for the remix, his first offering on vinyl this year as he's been busy working on a new album and touring Australia and New Zealand. Fans of the euphoric K90 sound won't be disappointed, and we're sure his remix will also convert a few more fans to the growing numbers that are flocking to see him play live at some of the UK's biggest club events right now. Already roadtested in K90's live sets at GodsKitchen, Sundissential, Dance Academy, Recoverworld and many others.

Ubu "Ride The Snake" Released 16.6.03 Cat No. SHAB063
A - Ride The Snake
B - Ride The Snake (Blakkat's Blak Acid mix)
The mighty Roberts brothers are back with a vengeance. 2000s Pixels EP was battered from Blackpool to Boston and Miami to Melbourne and this colossal follow up looks set to do the same kind of damage. 'Ride The Snake' is their combined comeback and then some! Its a tough, druggy dancefloor track that will cross house music's genres and appeal to a broad church of DJs and clubbers. Uncompromising percussion, a huge bottom end and hypnotic chords lock in to wrap around the effected "ride the snake" vocals. The remix on the flip comes from hot as your hat Blakkat, an acid tweeked deep tech-house journey, perfect for clubs like Fabric where he recently turned in a roof raising live performance. It oozes pure class and quality, synonomous with his releases on Siesta, Tango and Big Chief. Still to come on a separate 12, Flash Atkins and Magik J turn the original on its head.

Seth Vogt featuring Sam Mollison "The Unknown" Released 16.6.03 Cat No. SKR029
A - The Unknown (Redbak's Wonga mix)
B - The Unknown (Seth Vogt's Nu-Skool Expulsion mix)
Signed in Summer 2002, 'The Unknown' has a massive buzz already and is receiving support from all areas. The original is a tough, solid breaks track with an excellent vocal - a look into the future of breaks. The remix is tough, driven house music. Excellent use of original parts: vocal and strings work well to create a big cross-over track.

Wa Wa "GK EP" Released 16.6.03 Cat No. SKR029
A - GK
B - The Klub
Having been away from Fluentials release schedule for far too long, the Wa Wa crew return with the follow up to the undeniably massive 'No Problem'. 'GK' kicks off proceedings with a liquid bassline sitting nicely alongside acidic squelches and soaring strings. On the flip is the tribal deepness of The Klub, which comes across like Guitarra Gs moodier, older brother. Essential for the summer.

Where? What? When? "Get It Together" Released 16.6.03 Cat No. SUF64
A - Get It Together
B - Freak
Old friends Chris Liberator, Guy McAffer (the Geezer ), hard dance uber nutter Mark EG and his partner in crime Chrissi had the rare chance to get into Geezer studios and made sure they didnt waste their time. On the A side 'Get It Together' takes us back to the heady days of grumbling acid set over a straight groove that builds slowly but insistently until the point of no return. Then a sample from one of rock musics most legendary vocalists fills out the room on the breakdown. When it kicks back you dont need to be anywhere else. On the flip the gang get straight into the acid and pump up the pressure for a killer underground cut.

Various "Under The Influence" Released 16.6.03 Cat No. 65703610872
Under the Influence is a series built around the inventive work of some of the world's most adventurous DJ/remixers. The second Under the Influence release is delivered by turntable maverick and one-third of the X-ecutioners, Rob Swift, and is an incredibly funky journey through the explosive world of pioneering scratching, hip hop, breaks, and soul. Reaching back to his roots, you will hear a mixture of previously unreleased music from the '70s, heavily based out of the south. Little did these artists know that approximately 30 years later, someone would be breathing new life into these rare songs. I also played some of the turntable-oriented songs by DJs like Marley Marl on this CD because just like the selection of unreleased songs inspired a lot of the soul and funk of today, many of the scratch songs of the 1980s are responsible for the kind of turntable-oriented music we hear from people like myself now. Lastly, I rounded out the CD with a couple of tunes that I hope help reflect the scope of music which has surrounded me my whole life." Rob Swift.
Track Listing:
1 Theres a storm in the Gulf - James Black and Sister Mary
2 Hip Drop The Explosions
3 Humpty Bump The Vibrettes
4 Can I Be Your Main Squeeze Chuck Carbo
