Nathan G is one of Australia�s brightest new producers with productions forthcoming on Emerge and Transport (USA), Vicious and Vapour (Australia) and more. Groovehunter is another moniker used by Nathan G. He released productions on Australia�s Vicious Recordings using this name and is currently undertaking various remixes under this guise. �Deep Down Underground� is a jackin� dirty house cut. The Groovehunter remix steps up the pace with dirty phat sounds and solid groove interspersed with ragga style vocals. The original is slightly deeper but still has bag-loads of energy. Joof favourite, The Digital Blonde, brings us this storming EP featuring two classic and diverse tracks which are sure to rock the dance floor. 'Gothica' is a dark and powerful trancer. Haunting synth sounds ride over the Blonde�s trademark pounding drums. The breakdown is a real moment, using a creepy ice cream van music style horror film sample which sends shivers down the spine especially as it�s combined with a spooky vocal lifted from the same movie that asks �do you know anything about witches?� On the flip The Blonde serves up another high quality trancer entitled 'Noctone', utilizing swirling pads and synth sounds to devastating effect, to create a track that builds and drops in all the right places. The emotive arpeggiated melodies entwine with the relentless powerful bass-line which combined with the drums create a sound large enough to lift the roof off. 'Gothica' was Kicking Cut of the week on Graham Gold�s KISS 100fm show.

The original alone is a huge, big-room progressive number, which absolutely rocks. Big, driving drums and percussion, the driving vocal and that wicked vocal filtering in and out throughout the mix. It�s one of those tracks you hear at a festival in a massive tent and for weeks afterwards it gets remembered as one of the massive tracks from Sasha or Digweed�s sets. It is flipped by a huge remix from Nash T (aka Bluephaze) who opts for a deeper, more tribal approach, with layers of bass and strings doing the work, building to a spaced out break and changing the feel without loosing momentum throughout the mix.

'Wuarp' is metallic, minimalistic tech-house that worms its way into your brain. 'Skidaddle' is a track of two halves, with a great building first half giving way to a truly uplifting second half chocfull of killer hooky riffs whilst retaining its prog credibility. 'Wuarp' has been licensed to Dave Seaman�s Global Underground Cape Town and 'Skidaddle' is licensed to Dave Seaman�s Renaissance Awakening.

G-Spott checks in with a monster commercial-led trancer that kicks in all the right places. The vocal hook and distinctive riff is so catchy it carries a health warning. The 2 featured remixes are second to none and come from two of the most exciting UK young producers of the moment, Mark Richardson and Ian Knowles. The Ian Knowles mix is commercial but not cheesy as the production is tight and the riff used distinctly to drive the track along. Mark�s mix is deeper and more driving with an eerie synth line on top of a pounding bassline. Full-on trance with that trademark harder Nukleuz edge for those who appreciate a bit of welly. Totally anthemic and already licensed to Nukleuz Big Room Tunes.

G & S' latest production 'Enjoy the Silence is already causing a storm in the cooler clubs of Europe and is only available on import here in the UK. Musically, Mahogany Chopper will focus on the leftfield side of things with a variety of new acts all sucking in influences from electro, hip hop, funk, drum 'n' bass and rock, mashing them all together and spitting out a hybrid and unique form of alternative dance floor pressure. If you're feeling weird beats from the likes of Gonzalez, Mooky and Freddy Fresh then give the Mahogany Chopper a ride.

Yet again Binary return with an absolutely huge floor filler. Massive drums, massive bass and a wicked spoken vocal to top things off. The A-Side is a house groove with tinges of electro throughout and the vocal working nicely over the top. It starts with tight percussion, building through spacey effects and that crazy tripped out vocal, which sounds like it�s been spiked with acid! Pounding drums lead the way, through an onslaught of bass, the lead riff and some mental effects. On the flip, Freeloader checks in with a deeper, more progressive interpretation guaranteed to do serious damage on the dancefloor. The licence requests have already started coming in, with Renaissance requesting it for their forthcoming compilation.

Chris Liberator presents another slice on his unique and rocking Max Min. This time on the Max side he is joined by Android and Patrick DSP who have had releases on Cluster and Max Min respectfully and have another pairing on Cluster 55. This session, recorded in Toronto, has that infectious groove that you can often hear in Chris' DJ sets with the sound of Toronto's best exponents of techno. On the Min side, old friend Rowland The Bastard, label owner of Bionic Orange, Victim and Infected delves into deeper territory, but as recent releases on Max Min have shown, you still get a rocking floor burner.

Here Nebula take a break from the norm with this house outing from one of the genre�s brightest young things � the Liquid People.Here they go head to head with 80s pop / rock outfit Talk Talk for a phat, future-house re-invention of the band�s new wave anthem 'It�s My Life'. Set to be this year�s biggest retro rock-dance crossover, it has the definitive vocal version from Liquid People plus 2 corking dubs for all the non-vocal players out there. Starting life as a bootleg, the track got support from Pete Tong when he dropped it on the Terrace of the world�s favourite club � Space. Pete has also �officially started the weekend� with the track, opening his �Essential Selection� with it on 28.02.03! �It�s My Life� has been licensed to �Up All Night�. The CD release will feature a cracking re-cut of the original 80�s video for 'It�s My Life'.

'Second Nature� is the third collaboration between husband and wife team Mazi and Lori Namvar. The first effort was released on Brique Rouge Traxx and the second is to be released on the new US imprint Magnified Recordings. The songs are a representation of the synergy between Lori�s tech-edged sensibilities and Mazi�s house leanings. Mood and rhythm abound throughout this precise production. 'Reminders & Warnings' slowly twists into a rich sonic and body moving experience evoking the primitive acidic sexuality of old Power Music Trax. On the flipside, the insistent below-the-belt bump of 'Divergence' mates with harmonic abstraction to form an intense and emotive floor-filling workout. Second Nature rounds out with 'Release', a down-tempo track obviously inspired by Mazi and Lori�s non-musical endeavors.

A - K Hole
B - K Hole (Meat Katie & Elite Force remix)

'K Hole' is classic breaks as one would expect from Mark Pember but with more of a warm, rich, lush sound. The remix on the flipside meanwhile replaces the breaks with a more standard 4/4 beat, for more traditional fans of the Saw style.

�Must Be Music� is a driving and uplifting trancer which is sure to work in most trance sets. A nice vocal too which isn't too cheesy and makes this tune a very credible club track. �Must Be Music� has huge potential to become a big tune.

Rouzbeh Delavari introduces a beautiful lush breakbeat track on the A-Side 'About You' and a wicked, tough edged progressive corker on the flip which has been heavily supported by Nick Warren and John Digweed. The A-Side can only be compared to the fantastic Petter 'These Days', which Sasha and Jonathan Lisle have raved about for the past 3 months. Lush chord structures, rippling melodies and an all round emotive feeling. 5/5 from DJ Hyper in DJ Magazine, this release will quite literally put you on a high. Ideal intro track or indeed as an end of nighter. Flip it for the wicked �020227�. Not dissimilar to material from Airgap, this well and truly rocks. Tough driving percussion, big rugged basslines and an all round driving feel finish of this package perfectly. A firm favourite with Nick Warren, Digweed, Fortier and Anthony Pappa.

�Release�, a brand new track from the Solarstone boys and as usual they�ve come up with something truly beautiful. With smooth, rolling percussion from the start, blissful Balearic sunshine memories wash over the listener in true Solarstone style as a drifting arpeggio introduces one of �those� riffs that SS do so well. A haunting male vocal floats around the mix creating a lush atmosphere, with echoing guitars and synths supporting that driving melody. This is proper trance. �Destination� is the brainchild of classically-trained club veteran Michelle Maddock. There appears to be very few female producers in this scene, so this deserves special attention. Beautifully melodic, driving and awash with smooth fx, this is a truly astonishing debut release.

Nic Vegter (aka Classified Project) teams up with Maurice Night to deliver a dazzling remix-workout of 'North Pole'. Vaguely more commercial than his previous productions, which almost certainly explain the vast support it has received from top DJs worldwide, it�s a grand mixture of trance, progressive and chill, basically the ideal mishmash for that unique balearic experience. Undeniably a terrific production destined to go down big this summer. South Pole is a lot more parallel to Nic's well known Classified Project productions, with his trademark bassline and haunting drum patterns. A bit more progressive-oriented than the gigantic a-side, but still a very good creation. North Pole is licensed to DJ Tiësto's 'Nyana' (Black Hole) and Ferry Corsten's 'Mixed: Live' (Moonshine USA.)

In its original form, �Give It 2 U� is a beautifully crafted slice of house music, with layered pads working through the spacey vocals and teasing mini drops throughout. The dub mix provides a more consistent chunky groove - solid beats are the order of the day here.
