Filterheadz
"The Rhythm"

Released 10.2.03
Cat No. PB3016

A - The Rhythm

Filterheadz are one of the standout production duos to emerge in the dance scene this year. Remixing for the likes of Green Velvet, Bedrock and Minimalistix, and releasing tracks like 'The One Who Got Caught' and 'Sunshine', things really couldnt be better for this Belgian pair. This piece of vinyl captures the dirtier side of the Filterheadz, and is inspired by a Tenaglia set the boys heard at Space last summer. 'The Rhythm' is a dark house number, heavy on basslines and featuring a haunting vocal courtesy of Tomaz of 'Sunshine' fame. You can see this one stirring up bedlam on dancefloors in the early hours of the morning. Already receiving support from Rui da Silva, John Digweed, and Austin Leeds. Trendroid also included 'The Rhythm' on their recent Transport compilation in the USA. 'Protection' is less dirty and more proggy, but still banging! This one has all the big boys dropping it in their sets including Sander Kleinenberg, Jimmy Van M, and Danny Howells. Stabbing bass synths and a riff that cuts right through you, this track is set to pop up on charts everywhere.
