Matrik "Get Out" Released 30.9.02 Cat No.KCT1117
Champion / Madhouse return with an absolute gem of a package. Taken from the critically acclaimed album, '10 Years Of Madhouse', 'Get Out' utilises the little used vocal talents of the main man himself, Kerri Chandler. This double a-side features Kerri's mad mix which floats along with a relaxing, head-nodding wash of shuffled beats and that intangible mix of jazz, latin and house flavours together with a tribal rework from up-and-coming producers, Silk Machete which combines a spaced-out tribal feel with a killer bassline. Plenty for lovers of tripped out house grooves to play with here, then!

Max Pain "Feel So Good" Released 30.9.02 Cat No.THM048
Brand new outing from 12 Thumpers. The first track has a bass line that emulates the chunky vibe to the track. It is covered with manic stabs that create a crazy energy about the track that almost sounds erratic. The phasered drums bring in a menacing vocal in the mid-section before a heavy breakbeat winds the track up to a mind numbing climax. The second track is a more driving affair with sweet fills and an out-of-the-top-drawer bassline to make anyone get down. This is sure to be a dancefloor favourite especially when the vocal is recognised. To get away with a vocal like this the track relies on some wicked percussive fills and production second to none. The lead is hard edged but not overpowering and so compliments the overall vibe to the whole track. A definite winner.

Base Graffiti "Won't Stop Rocking" Released 30.9.02 Cat No.KTI023
With previous releases on Casa Dura, Nukleuz, Tidy and Tripoli Trax Base Graffiti have earnt themselves much respect in the scene for thier forward thinking production skills. With a distinctive vocal this track is all about the groove and the fusion of sounds as opposed to standard formulaic hard house that so often rears its head. On remix duties is Equinox. With his own label and remix on Nukleuz and forthcoming remixes for Tidy and Tripoli this is one to watch for the future. Keeping the original elements but managing to implement a trance influence into the track, this will be the one that has people rocking at the peak time moment.

On the A Side is the Original mix and on the B Side, the Dub mix. Whichever you choose you will have very unique piece of music at your disposal.

Sharpside "Apache In Wonderland" Released 30.9.02 Cat No.1672004130
RECORDS DELUXE is created by and for SHARPSIDE, exclusively distributed by AMATO all over the world, and is a subsidiary of PIAS. Sharpside is a collaboration between DJ Psychogene and Kid Crme from Belgium. DJ Psychogene is the resident DJ at Made in Brussels. He plays in more of an acid techno style than KID CRME aka Nicolas Scaravilli (resident at Ministry of Sound with Junior Jack), who plays disco-house. As Sharpside, they mix up techno, house and disco in their own inimitable style. Previous releases for the duo include I Love Techno, Critikal Freaks, Belgian Resistance, Interlude / Teiscodrop (featured on Luke Slaters recent mix CD for React) and Wave Cruising (licensed to Creams Collect Techno comp). Now we have Apachee in Wonderland, a tech-house outing set to create hysteria on the dancefloor. Here the duo are on idiosyncratic but accessible form. Breakbeats, nu-nrg bass and knob-tweaking acid buffoonery converge in dancefloor-friendly dementia!

Eyal Barkan & A-Force "Revolution" Released 30.9.02 Cat No.ITWT337
Eyal Barkan , Israëls premier trance producer was responsible for the massive hit Voyage also released on In Trance we Trust. Cor Fijneman is famous for his productions with DJ Tiësto such as Theme from Norefjell and Sparkles. The Cor Fijneman remix of Revolution is a pumping mix with a very raw break, after which huge chords take over. The Eyal Barkan extended mix is much more trance-influenced and uptempo, with melodic string chords, epic break and filters which will carry you away to the end.

Memnon "Lowcustos" Released 30.9.02 Cat No.MNR042
Hot on the heels of the outstanding 'Eclipse' single, Memnon returns with an eerie progressive stormer that haunts as much as it moves. Incorporating the minimal grooves of his Oko Tek (Bedrock) & HDI (Renaissance) work, Holmes Ives layers this track with a chugging beat, techy percussion and a shadowy vibe. But its his Memnon side that helps to create the tracks emotional breakdown and that 3 oclock high. On the flip, we are very proud to offer a phenomenal remix by the one and only Mo Shic (Pitch Black, Plastic Fantastic). This mix is nothing short of breathtaking, with a killer bassline, crazy FX, and more atmospheric mayhem than a hurricane. Memnon or Mo Shic which one will you choose? Licensed to Disstorted Patterns CD by Mo Shic.

Bakerz Dozen "Message From A Friend" Released 30.9.02 Cat No.SHAB055
Bakers Dozen consists of Chris Simmonds and Brian Royer who have delivered a chunky sub-bass driven breaky slab of house that has been causing mayhem on dance floors nationwide. The record was involved in a bidding war for a host of record labels after Pete Tong played it on his Radio 1 Essential Selection off test pressing, before Shaboom snuck in the back-door and snapped it up. Chris Simmonds is an acid-house legend who has more than paid his dues through time spent DJing around the world and on radio, including the genre-busting pirate, Girls FM. Brian Royer is a well-known singer who has worked with Ruby Turner and Junior Guiscombe amongst others. He only recently got on the other side of the mixing desk and his first collaboration with Chris Simmonds was In My Soul on hot New York label, Big Chief. 'Message From A Friend' is one of those rare records that cross genres, mashing the bottom end of drum and bass with breaks, techno and house and emerges with something unique that will be played on all the different scenes.

Etostone "The Ferocious Power" Released 30.9.02 Cat No.FRK014
Freakaboom continues its run of cutting-edge releases, always pushing the boundaries of the style, introducing new producers and artists to the scene and continually challenging the perceptions of this thing we call Breakbeat. With the debut Boomtronics compilation out on the streets, successful UK and EU tours notched up and a regular Saturday show on the infamous Breaks FM, 2002 continues to be a non-stop event for this London-based label. The debut production for Pavlos Tagkaloglou, a classically trained musician from Thessaloniki, Greeces second largest city. Not long after receiving his first very impressive demo nearly two and a half years ago, Paul was called up to do his 1 year National Service, this saw him transferred to the UN Peace Keeping Force in Northern Bosnia and opened his eyes to a side of life he never would have dreamed of before leaving the sun and sand of his native town. On his return he immediately got back to work in the studio trying to capture the emotions and experiences of his past year the result of that begins here on this 12Double A-side debut for this Greek Breaks producer. Two tracks of searing Breakbeat that picks up where the Prodigy left off. Taking the hard side of Breaks to a different plane, Etostone combines harsh guitar stabs with orchestral backings and apocalyptic vocals to deliver a neo-Hardcore vibe for the nu-millenium. Forget what you heard THIS is the future.

Heavens Cry "I Don't Need This" Released 30.9.02 Cat No.TIDYTWO109T / TIDYTWO109T2 / TIDYTWO109CD
Heavens Cry's debut release on Tidy, 'Till Tears Do Us Part', has sold over 14,000 copies since its release in Sept 2001. Within that time it has established itself as being a major Tidy anthem and still gets clubbers crying out for more every time it is played. Well, this summer Tidy hits back with its follow up track, 'I Dont Need This'. This time we have a different team of remixers on the case, but all have as equally devastating results as the first release. On Disc One we have the almighty Riot Bros. Fresh from their well-earned holiday and of course from their success with 'Ripped out', 'My Star Control', 'Serious Sound' and 'Youll Know It', the boys deliver a pumped up version for those harder, trancier floors but manage to keep the feel of the original track well. Already having received plays from Dave Pearce, the Tidy Boys and Lee Haslam, this could be the winning mix on this package, but judge for yourself. On the flip we have the original, which caters for the calmer commercial floors. On Disc Two we have the dynamic duo from Holland, Kumara, who delivered a killer mix on the top 40 success of Signum's 'What Ya Got 4 Me?' earlier in the year. The guys deliver more of a commercially edged hard house mix to satisfy the bouncier floors in the land, but again this mix has been receiving early support from the radio and a number of key players on the scene. On the flip we catch a cool, funky effort from Champion Burns who have been causing a stir in the house fraternity on the Untidy label over the past few months. Could this be another Tidy anthemlet the music do the talking!

A great way to finish of the summer.

Paul Jackson "Bulldozer EP" Released 30.9.02 Cat No.FLUENT35
Paul Jackson is a well-established DJ and is one third of Kidstuff, who have previously released two EPs on Fluential ('Alright' and 'Jetfunk') and have remixed for the likes of Liquid People and Bob Sinclar. He is fast establishing himself as one of the UK's premier DJ talents. Yet it's not as though Paul is new to the scene, having been behind the decks for the past 11 years. His ability to rock the crowd and chose the right record at exactly the right time has lead to him appearing regularly at the UK's leading clubs and tours for SUBLIMINAL, DEFECTED, RADIO ONE and MTV. 'Bulldozer' is a driving cut with a heavy pumping bass line and deep synths. 'New York' is a seriously funky groove with a spoken word vocal, which builds with piano hooks, strong Salsoul style strings and sounds of the city.

JFK "Good God!" Released 30.9.02 Cat No.Y2K033 / Y2K033R / Y2K033CD
JFK follows his Top 60 smash 'Sound Of Blue' with the re-release of another storming trancer 'Good God!'. With a brand new unbeatable package including mixes from Warp Brothers, Beat Renegades, Grinder and of course the original, 'Good God!' was massive first time around but with this package it is set to fly even higher! It was Fergie's Tune of the Summer 2001, No. 12 Club Chart, No. 1 in Public Domain's chart, dropped in all the major clubs around the UK and at the German Love Parade and appeared on God's Kitchen's compilation plus Hard Dance Anthems (Warner TV), Hard NRG (Ministry), Tidy Girls Annual (Tidy Trax) and Hard House Euphoria 2 (Telstar) amongst others. JFK is resident at Passion and Peach and plays many other high profile clubs. He has recently remixed Signum's 'What You Got For Me' on Tidy Trax (which Fergie made his tune of the week on Jules Radio 1 show) and also Club Caviar's 'Game Over' for Tripoli Trax. 'Good God!' is a strong hard trancer gaining massive club support from the likes of John Kelly, Steve Thomas, Nick Lunn, Fergie, Public Domain, Anne Savage, Mark Kavanagh and many more. Remixed by the Warp Brothers, this track gets a tough makeover from this top German outfit who themselves have had big chart success on the continent.

Kaybee "Undisclosed Evidence" Released 30.9.02 Cat No.ZOT12021
At just 21 years old Kristo Beyrouthy is already establishing himself as a name in production circles on the back of a few 'unauthorised' remixes that got released through the UK based DMC remix series. His collaborations with Gab Olivier (Deep Funk Project) as Precision have already been on rotation as dub plates, and will appear early next year as general releases. 'Undisclosed Evidence' sees Kaybee kick off his solo career in style via a spooky-introd, beautifully understated slice of music that treads the boundary of tech and tribal house to perfection. Warm sub-bass and minimal effects maintain the vibe and mean the a-side is definitely one for Svek or Ovum fans. 'Infringement' on the B-side showcases Kaybees love of the broken beat, again in his minimal style that ensures the track will find favour with the discerning DJ who loves a laid-back, head-nodding smokers tune. Meat Katies Mark Pember gave it a thumbs-up on his recent Australian tour and local 4/4 heads have also given support via the last ZT showreel.

Cosmosis "Contact" Released 30.9.02 Cat No.TRANR640CD
The release of the fourth artist album from legendary trance producer Cosmosis is a major event in the trance scene. After a year and a half long wait (since 2000's Intergalactic long player) the hordes of Cosmosis fans worldwide will not be disappointed with this stunning new album. 'Contact' is an expertly crafted, atmospheric, voyage through blissed out trance to heads-to-the-floor stompers and back. Produced by ex-session guitarist, artist and producer Billy Halsey aka Bilbo Bagginz, who has been making music professionally for over 15 years, 'Contact' is the summation of his achievement to date. Using the most atmospheric soundscapes, intricate rhythm patterns, carefully selected, often sci-fi related, spoken word samples treated with special fx and generous dose of warped psychedelic sounds Bilbo has created a new trance masterpiece. Not that you'd catch the self-effacing Bill saying that: for him, producing quality trance is merely "fumbling for the fundamental frequency." As well as producing this stunning album Cosmosis has continued to excel in a live performance capacity touring the world to communicate his distinctive sound to his adoring fans and converting the uninitiated in droves with gigs all over the place including Australia, Japan, Taiwan, Mexico, the major US cities, Egypt and Europe.
