Brothers Of Dub "After Time" Released 29.7.02 Cat No.FGD009
Brothers Of Dub are Steve Rixon and Sam Hyman Sams enjoyed huge solo success with tracks such as the Jules-championed No One Driving, whilst Steve tours the world over spreading the roots gospel. They also happen to be based at Enzos in Salisbury, one of the best known and longest running clubs in the South of England. EK is one of the newest kids on the block and a superstar in the making in the heady world of Nu Skool Breaks. Coming from Australia, his tough beats and phat bass-lines have caught the attention of the UK breaks fraternity, with Chris Bones himself personally asking EK to remix this track. After Time is forward-thinking old-skool - if that makes any sense? It is one of the biggest records of this year and exactly what house music is supposed to sound like. Electro tinged future funkin progressive house with reggae vocal samples and spine tingling strings.

Abel Ramos "One More" Released 29.7.02 Cat No.TIDYTWO106 / TIDYTWO106CD
Signed from Aqualoop records from Germany this little minx was first played by the Tidy Boys at the now legendary Tidy Weekender. Impressed by the reaction, they decided to sign it and here we are today! 'One More' is cool blend of hard house and trance, using quirky hard house tinges and a euphoric riff to make this track stand out from any other. Using the now familiar vocal One More, the track rifles along building throughout until you reach the real crescendo at the end. On remix duties we have the Pulsedriver vs Rocco remix. Debutantes on the Tidy label, the boys have a more down tempo effort on the original, which works well and has been getting support off Dave Pearce over the past few weeks.

C4 "Higher Level" Released 29.7.02 Cat No.12HPOT19

Stateside support so far has come from Andy Hughes and Steve Porter. Remix duties on the track come from Fracas Recordings' other new signing, London based up and coming DJ Paul Louth (aka Soulfish), who has also been caning the track at his residency at The Cross's Prologue night. It was here that Cass heard a CD of Paul's mix of SOMB, and attempted to sign it on the spot.

Cosmosis "Weird, Sick & Twisted" Released 29.7.02 Cat No.TRA070
Top selling Transient artist, Cosmosis, returns with his first new music since his hit album, Intergalactic, which hit the stores in February 2000. Trance faves MumboJumbo have their Weird, sick n twisted track remixed by Cosmosis on the flip. The A-side to this release, Find Your Own Divinity, takes on a tech flavour. Its hard-hitting trance that takes no prisoners, a peak time track with dark, acidic undertones, pumping and growling throughout, delivering a relentless and passionate dancefloor workout. The AA-side to this release, the Cosmosis remix of Mumbo Jumbos Weird, Sick and Twisted, has the potential to generate even more interest than the A-side. Sampling Dan Castellaneta, the voice behind Homer J. Simpson, this track incorporates Cosmosiss trademark bubbling bass sounds and mutant acidic riffs with the priceless Homer chanting I heard some weird stuff in that place last night. Weird, Strange, Sick, Twisted eerie godless evil stuff and I want in! Cosmosiss manipulation of this sample makes it the stunning track that it is. His engineering prowess has been fully utilized to bend, stretch, compress and EQ Homers voice from one extreme to the other. Weird, Sick and Twisted is an instant classic and not just a novelty track! This single is a mouthwatering appetizer for the brand new Cosmosis album, Contact, that is due for release in September.

Cube consists of Tim Scott, Stephen Bent and vocalist Dani G. Tim & Steve have worked together and individually and have appeared on various labels from Junior to Toko under guises such as Kwirky, Nimrod and Element N. Electric Tease "Lick The Hardcore" Released 29.7.02 Cat No.AUTO33
Lick The Hardcore is the latest stunning release from Electric Tease and could yet be Tim Healeys finest moment. Emotive attitude, deep, driving beats and dark melodies combine with one of dance musics finest vocals from Sophie Moleta (who sang on the club hit Love has come again by Human Movement on the Renaissance imprint). Haunting and soulful, Lick The Hardcore will stick in your head, but just this once, youre unlikely to mind! The inclusion of the original mix on Neos Space Ibiza 2002 compilation will further arouse interest in the track. Lick The Hardcore confirms Healeys immense talent and will propel Electric Tease to the forefront of the dance-music movement, such is the quality and potential of the record. The B Side, a stunning remix by Slide (of Cass & Slide fame), slows down the groove and hydrates the funk with a killer slapbass line, lubricating a sublime journey into deep, dirty house.

AJ Gibson vs Yoshi "Across The Sky" Released 29.7.02 Cat No.DAC02
Following hot on the heels of the massive Come (Into My Dream) by Foggy, Dacoda is back with a beautiful trance number from label co-founder AJ Gibson up against trancemeister, Yoshi. The original mix slowly builds around an uplifting riff, until the dreamy female vocal arrives, sending a shiver down your spine. The vocal gets into your head and stays there! The production quality is excellent and the dancefloor reaction to this track is truly amazing. The 2 AM Mix toughens things up without disappearing into hard trance territory. Snippets of the vocal drop in and out over a solid kick and a tougher distorted riff that will have the floors jumping. Angelic trance with a dirty face!
