Illuminati "Bohemian Groove" Released 5.6.02 Cat No.3BTT62
This record is produced by Andy Chatterley and Richard Scheissel better know as YumYum, who have also remixed the B side. The A-side original is a pounding energetic monster that could easily fit into the boxes of Sasha or The Judge. On the flip Yum Yum go slightly deeper, giving us a touch more credibility for those cooler floors. Yum Yum are no strangers to the industry and should be familiar to most of you from their work on Sperm Records amongst others. Their most recent smashes have been Heavy Fluid, which was featured on Jimmy Van Ms Bedrock album and their amazing remix of Insignias Revelation on 3 Beat Music.

Madoka "Coppola" Released 5.6.02 Cat No.REAL12002
Madoka is New York based Mark Venneri who should be familiar with many of you for his work on Londons Plastic Fantastic label and Satoshi Tomiies SAW Recordings. This is his second release on his own label Private Reality but his first record through 3BLM. Two very contrasting tracks here to cover the tastes of most people. Temperamental on the A side is one hell of a cool tech-inspired journey that has already caused some serious dance-floor mayhem for the lucky TP holders! Coppola, on the flip, is an uplifting house track with a big lead riff thats sure to keep the crowd happy. Mark is also about to release Slightly Forward on SAW Recordings under his Akodoma alias and with another 2 singles scheduled for release on Private Reality, 2002 should be the year he finally receives the recognition he deserves.

Greed "Strange World" Released 5.6.02 Cat No.SOG012R1
Sog Records are from Zurich in Switzerland. They have an amazing roster of talent that inlcudes Greed, Blackwatch, Van Bellen, Lemon 8, and Jondi & Spesh. Greed is a veteran of music production. He has written and re-worked many classics over the years and is most famed for his amazing Promises track a couple of years ago. The vocal is so strong on this record that label boss Tobi Wirz decided to re-release it again with yet more new mixes. DISC 1 here sees Yogi Van Bellen in his familiar melodic summer vibe. The track begins with cool beats before washing you with wonderful warm pads. The vocal begins and all is well in the world. Tobi under his Greed name has re-worked the track on the flip side and provides us with a promises style house groover that will work many floors. Van Bellen is familiar to most of you due to both his solo and partnered work as one half on Saints & Sinners. His productions always have a trademark warm and summery vibe to them.

Source Of Gravity "Overload" Released 5.6.02 Cat No.3BLM001
Three Records is a new label out of Liverpool focusing in general on the more housey end of the market whilst retaining an underlying progressive feel. The first release comes from the Source Of Gravity boys based on the Isle Of Man. Christian and Oliver Steriopulos have joined forces with Manchesters Mark Wheawill to create this joint project. The A side is a tribalistic house groove with cool vocals and a melodic finale - already a firm fixture in the boxes of Lawler, Tenaglia and Co and a devasting floor slammer at Heavens Bedrock night. On the flip side, Sacrifice takes a slightly lighter approach with a wonderful moving bass-line and cool 808 percussion, reminiscent of Glenn Undergrounds Peacefrog excursions.

Madoka "Cabaret" Released 5.6.02 Cat No.DEEP007
New York based Mark Venerri is certainly shaping up to be a name to watch this year. He already has releases out on Satoshi Tomiies Saw Recordings and Londons Plastica labels not to mention the work on his own label Private Reality. He has also completed a vocal piece If We Begin featuring New Yorks Bari Koral on vocals, which is currently being remixed by the UKs Andy Jarrod. Mark is sure to become the hottest property out of New York since Michael Blackwatch Thomas. 'Cabaret' has been floating around for a while with some of the leading DJs. Its an amazing piece of music that has to be heard in a club to gather its full effect. Slightly progressive by nature but tech-inspired by design, the lead riff builds and builds before dropping you like a Deportivo center half. Its a record that might confuse some people at first but one listen on the dancefloor and youll be convinced. Procedures on the B side is a chunkier record that lets you breathe throughout the track instead of thrusting you head first into anticipation .Licensed to Andy Jarrod's 'Vapourised 3'.

K90 "Urban Anthems" Released 5.6.02 Cat No.RECOVERCD001
For over 8 years Mark Doggett aka K90 has been at the forefront of underground dance culture in the UK, playing to packed audiences all over the England and abroad. He has tirelessly pushed himself over every boundary that was presented to him, to become a near iconic figure in dance culture today. His performances are what legends are made by: gigs and parties are recounted with near religious fervour by his many fans, and his releases are sought after with near religious perseverance. It is testament to his hard work and his endless touring that his audience is so royal and has grown exponentially in the last 2-3 years. How else would you explain 2500 people flocking to an out of the way venue such as the Stratford Rex in London on a rainy and cold Saturday evening to see him play? How would you explain that one website regularly sells out of all his back catalogue releases, and is its biggest selling artist? K90 is underground dance culture as we know it today: hands in the air, uplifting melodies, hypnotic grooves and a fun night out. An experience that has to be made first hand to understand all the power and passion that it unleashes. And all that is just about to take that one step further with the release of the new K90 album Urban Anthems. A collection of new material and a few old favourites (never before released on album format), Urban Anthems is the pinnacle of nearly 8 years of work for Mark.

Following on from this early worldwide success, Subversive has developed & grown alongside our signed artists, both creatively & commercially via consistently well-received output and also by expanding the in-house roster to include the likes of Jean Phillipe Aviance, Blue Amazon, top German artists York, and US house don George Morel. Psycho Radio "In The Underground" Released 5.06.02 Cat No.OX5066
Italys revered Oxyd Records, home of the current club hit Starchaser licensed to Ministrys Rulin imprint, deliver this infectious 80s inspired punk & new wave influenced smash 'In The Underground' from Psycho Radio. 12" Thumpers "Nuff Respect" Released 5.06.02 Cat No.THM043
Nuff Respect has a chunky feel to it, typical of the now well-established Thumpers sound. It is scattered with tight percussive stabs and a hefty bass line that will shake clubs to their foundations. The high-energy feel to this track is provided by the scratching and nifty break-beat fill that compliments the sweet piercing lead. Look Out is a bouncier number with wicked percussive fills that build to a rude top lead that will reverberate around any venue in the country. The bass line retains the fatness one would now expect from Thumpers material and the cunning feel to the vocal supresses the exciting build up that unleashes this uplifting lead. Without a doubt this EP will storm across the UK and abroad, further confirming the indelible print Thumpers have stamped across the UK hard house scene.

John Creamer & Prince Quick "Fuck Sonnet" Released 5.06.02 Cat No.AM1
John Creamer and Prince Quick have reached deep into the dark underbelly of the New York dirty tribal house scene to produce Fuck Sonnet, an unforgettable record that lays a truly filthy monologue over a cheeky, spiky, tribal house groove. John Creamer (Muzik Mag remixer of the year 2001, behind the chart topping mixes of Kosheen's 'Hide U', Lio's 'Rapture', and many more) and Prince Quick (who scored a massive club hit with the excellent 'You are Sleeping') have teamed up to devastating effect. They could almost be the first NY House Supergroup! Despite having sent out only 15 TPs it has already been charted at number 8 in the Cool Cuts chart for 24th April (tough tribal production and lots of f-words) and had numerous dance publications talking about it . The track has already been licensed to several US compilations including 'Cream Anthems' and Satoshi Tomiis 'Global Underground' CD.

Eclectica "O' Spectra" Released 5.06.02 Cat No.BLACK05
Hailing from Hungary, Eclectica started by DJing in local cafes and clubs and after developing a growing musical community, went on to run their own record shop. Ever seeking to develop their experiences, the next logical movement was obviously production and 'O'Spectra' proved to be a real mover, despite being one of their earliest experiments. It's a driving, dark, dance floor filler, further adding to the sound and reputation surrounding black. Atmospheric, deep percussive stabs take the track off and soon break in to a pulsing, rhythmic beat. A fantastic hook means that this is another dark floor moment but also a deviation on black to something urgent and groovy. Rising stars in the progressive world, Deep Space Organisms turn their hands to 'O'Spectra' on the flip. Increasingly prolific across the board, as producers, remixers and with their already strong label Deep Space Recordings, here they provide a track even more driving and geared towards the peak time hours than the original. Spacey and atmospheric, the Deep Space Organisms stay true to their name in twisting the track into a building, atmospheric, beat-driven cut, holding the synths intact and infecting it with a new energy.

Helix 360 is a collaboration between two huge trance DJs that has to remain a secret. The hype building in the clubs about this track is nothing short of phenomenal. Already the majors are queing up to sign it and the big radio jocks are on it. The track focuses on what is very much an in demand sound and proves that trance is more than on its way back.
